Russ's mom, Sandra, got here yesteday for a visit to see her first Grandson! Eliot took all of 45 minutes before he was on her lap and giving her big sloppy kisses! It's a blessing to have her here, to see Eliot's 'homeland', and most of all to help me!! ( a little selfish, i know!) It's been a huge blessing to have her here even just for the last 24 hours! It's also fun to show her around town! She'll be here until the end of the month!
HI Katie,
ReplyDeleteIt is so glad to see family and friends coming to visit you and Eliot! We miss you up here and are praying that things will fall into place quickly!
heck yes i'll come for a getaway!!
ReplyDeleteHi Katie and Eliot! Love the blog! We can totally relate to poor Russ being asked a million questions. We get asked "the question" all the time. This process is frustrating to say the least! I am loving being home but miss my baby terribly! See you soon. Tina
ReplyDeleteHey Katie, Brad Edwards here. Good to see things are progressing! Hannah and I are praying almost daily for you guys!
ReplyDeleteJust something FYI. If you want to, you can go into the facebook notes section and paste the URL for this blog and it will automatically feed anyhting you post onto facebook notes. That way, you can post it just this blog, but you keep people informed on facebook and blogspot at the same time.
You probably already know this, but I thought I'd mention it just in case.
And seriously... Elliot is freaking adorable. We can't wait to meet him.
Hi Katie,
ReplyDeleteYou probably don't remember me, but I met you in Oregon once... I'm married to Ryan Morrison. I came across your page through Kasey's and I'm so excited for you guys and your new little boy! I'm sorry the process is taking so long and I hope it all goes smoothly from here on out. Eliot is adorable!!
We're moving down to St. Louis some time this summer, so maybe we'll meet again sometime! And we're actually going to be starting the paperwork for an adoption ourselves as soon as we get settled after the move... so I'd love to hear more details of your experience.
Good luck with everything!
