The writing was on the wall...literally. Thankfully only with a pencil and only a few small/medium sized lines. Thankfully we have Magic Erasers for such an occasion. Thankfully we have a time-out chair with promises of a spanking if this behavior continues for such an occasion. Thankfully he's a smart boy and this hasn't happened since.
Doesn't he have great timing with the house being on the market! ;)
ReplyDeleteBy the way I LUUURRVE Magic Eraser!
Brings back memories!!! Keegan "wrote" on our couch (new at the time) with a black sharpe! Oh, the fun!
ReplyDeleteFelicia
It has happened here - by both girls now.
ReplyDeleteSide note: I read an article somewhere (don't remember where now) the magic erasers can burn kids hands even though they don't do that to us. I read it after Norah had already used one once - just thought you might want to know.
Okay, so I've totally decided you need to start a new blog...Chasing Elliot! The subtitle could be, "A boy's version of Montessori inspired activites." A huge smile spread across my face just now when I pictured what our boys would do with the latest Paper Bag Water Painting. :) You could give us all some great comic relief with your, "What it's supposed to look like" and the reality check a boy brings to the picture. Ha, ha.
ReplyDeleteAhhh those magic erasers are the best!!! Love how you are actually having E do the erasing! That what we had our girls do.
ReplyDeleteOh man. I'm sure I'm in for some of this soon!
ReplyDeleteat least it's cleanable... not with permanant marker... it could always be worse, couldn't it?
