Gift bags!
Brownie cupcakes!
Sling shots and pom pon birds!
Don't trust them, they steal stuff.

Hi! What materials did you use to make the angry birds mask? thanks
ReplyDeleteHel, we used that flexible foam stuff. Hobby Lobby had a huge packet of multicolored for about $4. Then my husband made a template of the shapes and we cut them out ahead of time. The kids helped put them together with hot glue (supervised) and stapled some elastic for the head band.
ReplyDeleteAwesome! I am planning my sons birthday and I love your ideas! What did you use to make the Angry Bird Brownie cupcakes... for the beak?
ReplyDeleteThe brownie cupcakes were made with laffy taffy for the beaks, half a mini marshmellow for the eyes and black gel icing for the eyes and brows. The kids were able to put them together themselves which made for an additional party activity.
ReplyDeleteI love your angry birds party ideas. Where did you get the printables?
ReplyDeleteSuper cute! Where did you get the printables?
ReplyDeleteGreat party....I was wondering where you go the sling shots? Thanks
ReplyDeleteThe sling shots came from Oriental Trading (online).
ReplyDeleteI stumbled accross your blog looking for ideas for my sons birthday and I'm so glad I found it! My brother is adopted and although the circumstances were different (he is my biological cousin) reading your blog has given me a new appreciation for the struggles and love it took for my parents to do what the did and continue to do. Thanks! (And also thanks for the party ideas :)
ReplyDeleteGreat Party! Do you mind sharing how you made the favor bags? They are perfect!
ReplyDeleteDid you make the template for the masks??? I'm doing an angry birds party for my son this weekend and would love to have the kids make those! :)
ReplyDeleteWhere did I get the printables??
ReplyDeleteThank You Thank You for the idea. :-) My son who just turned 5 is also an angry birds addict. His birthday was yesterday but we will be having his party on the 21st and I will be stealing some of your ideas. Unfortunately, we are not familiar with the place yet and the hotel we are at does not have any way for us to bake or cook. But, we will make do of what we have. :-) We just arrived in Bahrain (Middle East) due to my husband's line of work and we are still in a hotel awaiting to move in to a house.
ReplyDeleteNewayz, keep those wonderful ideas coming!
