Fair Weather fans?
While we insist on being a Cubs family, Busch stadium is a fav for us. After work on Wednesday Russ told me we got free tickets from a friend! (love that about St. Louis!)It was an unexpected but much needed family outing! However with a game starting at 7:15 and bedtime at 7:30, we knew we were taking a risk. You can see for yourself how the progression of the evening went:
At first we've got normal Eliot, chillin' with Dad and eating pasas with Mom.
Then started the yawning...
Then the utter misery of being awake...
Oh wait, something just happened in the game...
Switch to mom and begin official cuddle time...no pictures, please!
He pauses again from cuddle time to check out what everyone is yelling about...
And finally in the 8th inning, we called it a night. Cards won 8-3! Woo-hoo!

GO CARDS!
i love how cute you all look in coordinating cards colors! what a cute family pic!
Go Cards!! Atleast the cheering didn't freak Eliot out. Even last summer at 3 1/2, Norah still cried every time the crowd exploded in cheers! We'll try again this year - after each game, I wonder why we torture ourselves. Maybe Lucy will be the baseball fan!
That's awesome guys. glad to know the boy is being raised correctly around some sports. I remember we took Grant to football games as early as 6 to 8 months old. He loved it. I think the lights and the activity really kept his attention and coincidentally he loves sports to this day. Those are awesome memories being made. I love it.
I love it that you are cool parents and will buck the sleep system every-once-in-a-while for a good family outing! So fun!!!
I love the last picture of your boy - classic!
