Check 4/12

There's lots to share about my weekend at Summit9 in Nashville but had to share what happened when I got home!

Upon walking in the house, Eliot asked me to close my eyes and walked me to the living room, where I saw this!

It's worth noting that this is only the second television we've bought in our 17 years together. Also? If you keep up with our Instagrams you've seen screen shots of our last TV and the lack of the full picture...

It's just so fancy I don't know what to do with myself. So I've started drinking tea. (That's what fancy people do. duh.)

Meet the Mohr's

We started this blog to communicate the details of our journey adopting our son, Eliot, from Guatemala in 2007 and kept it going every since. What you read is what you get, for the most part. This is us. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll grit your teeth, all normal responses to our life. We love each other, Jesus, bacon and accessories, not in that order.

We added our son Desmond to the family in 2011 through domestic adoption. The hubs, Russ, is a worship pastor and graphic designer. I get to man home-base, making sure the littles are fed, clothed, and hugged while also writing and will admit to being a serial Instagramer. I'm super good at hide-n-seek but not such a great cook. We have a passion for orphan care of all kinds and can't wait to see what's ahead for our family, waiting to see who and how the rest of the Mohrs will join us.
