A pick-me-up?

Today it's raining. Not only is it raining, but it's a heavy day. From all different circles, today is a hard day for processing life. From the sad goodbye to a great President and the popular Director of Alum at GC, not to mention the news of Hogue Hall coming down, to a birthday that cannot be celebrated, to a tragic death of a 5-year old and a serious car accident, to the uncertainty of Guatemalan adoptions right now not matter your hearts commitment, to an MRI on a college kid, to waiting on more tests results from the doctor on a questionable serious condition. It's everywhere today. Unfortunately, there's not much I can do. So, I'm posting this video in order to make you laugh. If you're one of the people/situations referred to already, this is for you. Watch it as many times as you need to. I hope it makes you laugh like it does me.

A little background on the video: a few weeks ago I was cuddling with Eliot before bed on the couch when "The best of Chris Farley, SNL" came on TV. One of the first skits was when he's on Weekend Update and keeps doing the " motion with his fingers to emphasize his points. Now, before you call social services on our amazing parenting discretion, please know we wouldn't normally sit Eliot in front of any SNL. However, he laughed so hard EVERY TIME Chris Farley made that motion that Russ found it on Youtube and I videoed him watching it. It kills me. Enjoy, and please know that you're on my heart today.

I will have to wait to watch the video when I get home because I can't watch it here at work but I am sure it will really help the sadness of the day. It sounds like you guys have a lot more going on than I knew about.
I love you guys and will be praying for you.
