I have to brag on a friend of mine, Erin, still in Guatemala. I got to see her briefly on our trip. She's been there for a year and a half, and her beautiful daughter just turned 2. Her husband lives there with her now. Her blog is, of course, interesting but more importantly she has a shop on Etsy! Her stuff is amazing! She recycles Guatemalan hand-woven textiles into fabric collages, mosaics, note cards, etc. Her stuff is so unique and such a tribute to the beauty of the Guatemalan culture.
